MPP sports

Why does the Institute have its own sports club? Sports at the Institute fulfil an important social function and help to create closer identification with the Institute. It is a “win-win” situation, as people say nowadays. The participants remain nimble – in mind as well as in body; the Institute retains committed, healthy staff members who are motivated with a will to perform.

The sports club was established on April 7, 1993.

Anyone employed by the Institute can become a member of the club. The annual fee is 15 euros. Members can then take part in all the sporting activities offered.

“Pool is the fine art of thinking ahead. It is not only a game, but first and foremost a demanding sport that requires not only stamina, but also the logical thinking of a chess player and the steady hand of a concert pianist.”

(Albert Einstein)
