Besides meeting the general requirements for a position of this nature (a completed doctorate in physics, relevant scientific publications), profound knowledge in one or several of the following areas is desirable: quantum field theory, conformal field theory, AdS/CFT correspondence, scattering amplitudes in gauge theories, calculation of cross-sections for LHC processes, computer algebra. Furthermore, we expect excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Renumeration is based on the Collective Wage Agreement for the Civil Service (TVöD Bund) pay scale up to pay group 13 depending on your qualifications and experience. This post is available on a two-year fixed-term basis offering you the opportunity to participate in advanced trainings of the Max Planck Society, generating competencies in various fields such as career planning and soft skills.
