From msd@physics.carleton.ca Thu Jan 13 18:53:13 2005 Date: Wed, 12 Jan 2005 16:59:07 -0500 From: Madhu Dixit To: Ronald Dean Settles Cc: Vincent Lepeltier , COLAS Paul , giomataris Subject: Micromegas TPC with a resistive anode readout - Carleton/Montreal/Orsay/Saclay Hi Ron, We will have no new results to report for the Friday session. Here is a brief summary. 1) Paul Colas has already reported on the Micromegas x-ray resolution studies done with a resistive anode readout. 2) The Carleton test TPC was recently been outfitted with a Micromegas with a resistive anode readout. The modified TPC became fully operational last week. The fill gas at present is Ar/CO2 90/10. We are currently taking cosmic ray data without a magnet. Upon completion of tests in Ottawa, we plan to take the TPC to Saclay for cosmic ray tests in a 2T magnetic field.
