LHC is ready to start up again

After its first long shutdown for planned maintenance the Large Hadron Collider is ready to start up again.

In light of numerous improvements that have been made on the LHC, scientists hope to gain new insights into different areas. Among others the analysis of the Higgs boson and dark matter will benefit of the higher energy level LHC is going to operate on.
